Site visit to síbiotech - Innovative Microalgae Biotechnology in Latvia

We are delighted to invite AlgaEurope participants to visit síbiotech one of the leading biotechnology companies in the Baltic region. Their company specializes in cultivating microalgae in advanced photobioreactors, conducting biotechnological research, and extracting high-value bioactive compounds such as Omega-3 fatty acids and natural antioxidants.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see their supercritical CO₂ extraction technology, which enables the production of high-purity fatty acids and antioxidant extracts, as well as their new encapsulation equipment, designed for developing innovative nutraceutical formulations.

During the visit, participants will be introduced to sibiotech's research and production facility in Riga, learn about their R&D activities, and explore potential collaboration opportunities in biotechnology and health innovation.

As a growing company, they can host a group of up to 20 participants, with transportation arranged from the main AlgaEurope event venue to their facility, located just a few kilometres away (Saulrieta krastmala 55, Riga, LV-1063).
