PROCESS

1) Download the template for the call for abstracts.

2) Fill out the 2 pages of the template. Please use the fonts and letter size as indicated in the abstract.

3) Upload your abstract on the website until 2 September 2024.

4) The Evaluation Committee will evaluate all the abstracts.

5) We will inform you until 24 October 2024 if your abstract was selected to speak or present a poster at the conference.

6) In order to speak or present a poster at AlgaEurope 2024, you need to register for the conference.

IMPORTANT

You can save your abstract one time only. Please make sure to have all fields completed before you finally submit your abstract. You will receive a confirmation by email after the submission. Changes in the abstract title are not possible after your submission. Please note that emails regarding the submission will be sent to the submitter.

Presenting author(s) of accepted abstracts must confirm their attendance after acceptance of their abstract and must be registered for the conference.

Abstracts not adhering to the guidelines will be rejected. The final decision about the acceptance of an abstract will be taken by the AlgaEurope Scientific Committee. AlgaEurope does not correspond to the reasons for acceptance/rejection of an abstract.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Your poster, PDF or PowerPoint presentation, and your full abstract will be made publicly available through AlgaEurope 2024 Conference website after the conference. Next to that, you agree with the publication of your photo/video/presentation through the AlgaEurope 2024 website.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment of royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by DLG Benelux or the person or entity designated to do so by DLG Benelux. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

Data protection: By registering as an author and by submitting an abstract to AlgaEurope 2024, authors agree that DLG Benelux may use the personal data submitted for the purposes of managing AlgaEurope 2024.
