Award Evening
On Thursday, 11 December 2025, AlgaEurope will host its Award Evening, celebrating excellence within the algae community. In addition to the Poster Presentation Awards, the Life & Career, Impact & Action, and Youth & Outreach Award will be presented to honor outstanding contributions to the field.

In order to participate in the Poster Presentation Award:
- You submitted an abstract and your abstracts has been accepted for AlgaEurope 2025
- You are registered for AlgaEurope 2025
- You have confirmed that you will present a poster and you will bring your poster to AlgaEurope 2025
- If your poster should be included in the AlgaEurope 2025 app, please send your poster as a PDF by 1 December 2025 via wetransfer to k.kreuser@dlg.org
Evaluation:
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards will be nominated by the AlgaEurope Evaluation Committee
- Audience Awards: Delegates will evaluate the posters in the AlgaEurope app and decide whose poster deserves an award
Prize for winners:
- Gold Winner: Conference ticket incl. conference dinner for AlgaEurope 2026, two minutes presentation during the conference, social media post about the gold winner, AlgaEurope newsletter with information about the winner and his/her research
- Silver Winner: Conference ticket for AlgaEurope 2026, two minutes presentation during the conference, social media post about the silver winner, mentioned in AlgaEurope newsletter
- Bronze Winner: 1-year-subscription to Algaflix, two minutes presentation during the conference, social media post about the bronze winner, mentioned in AlgaEurope newsletter
- Audience Award Winner: 1-year-subscription to Algaflix, two minutes presentation during the conference, social media post about the Audience Award winner, mentioned in AlgaEurope newsletter
