You abstract has been accepted as an oral presentation at AlgaEurope 2023? And you would like speak at the conference? Then please follow those 3 steps:

Please confirm your speaker slot before 10th November 2023 by sending an email to a.ivanko@dlg.org.
In order to speak at the conference, you need to register for AlgaEurope 2023 until 10th November 2023. Here you can register for the conference. The registration fee for speakers is € 750 +. VAT. We have sent you a discount code in order to benefit from that reduced rate.
Please send your presentation as PowerPoint and PDF before 1 December 2023 via wetransfer to a.ivanko@dlg.org. The PowerPoint presentation is used during the conference. The PDF will be shared with all conference delegates after the conference. If we should not share your presentation, please send us an email.

Speaker Guidelines

Poster Presentation

You abstract has been accepted as a poster presentation at AlgaEurope 2023? And you would like to present your poster at the conference? Then please follow those 3 steps:

In order to present your poster, you need to register for AlgaEurope 2023 before 10th November 2023. Here you can register for the conference. Please indicate in the comments “I will present my poster”.
Please send us your poster as PDF before 1 December 2023 via wetransfer to a.ivanko@dlg.org.
You need to print your physical poster and bring your poster to the conference by yourself. The organizers of AlgaEurope 2023 DO NOT print posters on behalf of presenters.

In case you would like to present more than one poster, please send an email to info@dlg-benelux.com.

Every presenting author of a poster will be considered for the Poster Presentation Award. You just need to follow the 3 mentioned steps above.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Journal of Applied Phycology

AlgaEurope 2023 delegates have the opportunity to submit their work to the Journal of Applied Phycology.

You can submit your work to the Journal of Applied Phycology from September onwards.

IMPORTANT: The abstract has to be accepted by the Conference Committee in order to submit your work to the Journal of Applied Phycology.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

IMPORTANT

Presenting author(s) of accepted abstracts must confirm their attendance after acceptance of their abstract and must be registered for the conference.

Abstracts not adhering to the guidelines will be rejected. The final decision about the acceptance of an abstract will be taken by the AlgaEurope Scientific Committee. AlgaEurope does not correspond to the reasons for acceptance/rejection of an abstract.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Your poster, PDF or PowerPoint presentation, and your full abstract will be made publicly available through AlgaEurope 2023 Conference website after the conferences. Next to that, you agree with the publication of your photo/video/presentation through the AlgaEurope 2023 website.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment of royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by DLG Benelux or the person or entity designated to do so by DLG Benelux. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

Data protection: By registering as an author and by submitting an abstract to AlgaEurope 2023, authors agree that DLG Benelux may use the personal data submitted for the purposes of managing AlgaEurope 2023.
